Présentation
Abstract:
Diet profoundly shapes health and longevity. While protein restriction robustly extends lifespan, how individual amino acids acting as metabolic and signaling cues regulate longevity remains unclear.
Here, I present genetic and nutritional dissection of amino acid–dependent lifespan control in Drosophila melanogaster, highlighting roles for methionine and tyrosine. I also introduce unpublished findings on nutritional programming, in which transient larval dietary manipulation durably shapes adult longevity.
