The Brain Catalogue is a collaborative platform for comparative neuroanatomy. Our aim is to celebrate the diversity of the vertebrate brain by making high quality data, open and freely available to everyone.

The Brain Catalogue is developed by Roberto Toro, researcher at the Neuroscience Department of the Institut Pasteur, Marc Herbin, curator of the Vertebrate Brain Collection of the Jardin des Plantes and Mathieu Santin, researcher at the CENIR laboratory at the Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle (ICM, UMR-S975, Inserm U975, CNRS UMR7225). Scientific, methodological and financial support has been prodived by Florencia Grisanti (Taxidermy Workshop of the Natural History Museum in Paris), Alexandra Petiet (CENIR laboratory) and Olivier Colliot (head of the Cogimage team at the ICM).
