About
The major goal of the vaccine research institute (VRI) consists in boosting the development of a vaccine against HIV. The VRI is a laboratory of excellence (Labex) created as part of the first PIA call and coordinated by the Institut Mondor of Biomedical Research. It brings together teams from institutes in France (Institut Pasteur, IDMIT/CEA, Inserm, the universities of Bordeaux and Strasbourg, and other DHUs), Europe and the United States. Michaela Müller-Trutwin has been the Co-chair of the “Correlates of protection” division and a Scientific Council member from 2013 to 2018.
