About

Representation of MIRRI in ISIDORe

The Biological Resource Center (CRBIP) represents the MIRRI infrastructure in ISIDORe.

Our activities are focused on service provision (TA), but also in joint research activities.

The ISIDORe project intends to capitalise on the experience and successes of these RI, and assemble an ambitious integrated, coordinated, interdisciplinary and operational scientific research instrument to provide trans-national and virtual access to its capacities to selected user scientists.

ISIDORe aims at structuring and coordinating its effort and service offer according to an R&D pathway meant to support the response to an epidemic crisis and/or increase our preparedness to epidemic-prone pathogens.

Overall Objectives

1) Contributing to fighting the rise of SARS-CoV2 variants through a global, integrated and challenge-driven approach by providing fast access to cutting-edge resources and services to scientific user communities for supporting the evidence –based development or adaptation of countermeasures in times of emergency, and

2) Contributing to Europe’s readiness to any epidemic-prone pathogen through a global integrated preparedness-driven approach by providing access to cutting-edge resources and services to scientific user communities for supporting their projects in the field of infectious diseases in peaceful times as well as during epidemics.
