About
Neurocysticercosis (NCC) caused by Taenia solium, is one of the most important parasitic infections of the central nervous system. Both human and pigs can act as intermediate hosts carrying the larvae stage, i.e. developing cysticercosis. The aim of this project headed par Ronan Jambou is to develop a rapid diagnostic test adapted for the control of porcine cysticercosis in rural areas. The PFPR produced and purified the proteins identified as major antigens of interest for this tests. Ronan Jambou. Département Parasites et Insectes-Vecteurs.
