About

The FunVesi project is focused on functional characterization of membrane-bound extracellular vesicles (EVs) produced by hyperthermophilic and acidophilic archaea of the order Sulfolobales. The main objective of the project is to provide the understanding on the biological roles of archaeal EVs and the mechanism of their fusion with the target cells using Saccharolobus species as a model system.
