We’re looking for a junior postdoctoral researcher to join an interdisciplinary project on the emergence of arboviruses in the Amazonian basin.
This project is funded by France 2023 PEPR-Prezode program (https://anr.fr/fileadmin/documents/2024/CP-France-2030-laureats-PEPR-PREZODE-20240403.pdf) and gather 12 partners with expertise in mosquito biology/ecology, deep sequencing, diagnostics social and behavioral sciences, risk modeling
Description
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to the WP on spillovers and adaptation of arboviruses to human-biting mosquitoes. The position is ideally suited for highly motivated applicants with a PhD and a strong background in molecular virology with an established publication record. French language is not a requirement. Strong written and oral communication skills in English are required.
