M2 student at Université Paris Cité Magistère Européen de Génétique.
I am passionate about genetics and I am keen on studying the fundamental processes that allow cell survival.
Since the beginning of 2022 I am doing my M2 internship in the Unit “Genetics of Macromolecular Interactions” and more precisely in the group “Translation dependent mRNA degradation“. Here I work on NMD, one of the best studied mRNA surveillance pathway. My work involve Transcriptomic assays such as RNA immunoprecipitation followed by RNA sequencing (RIPseq), but also Genetic engineering as cell transformation using Homologous Recombination. Those experiments are realized on the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a model organism genetic studies.
Afterwards, my goal is to continue my study through a PhD, which I believe crucial to develop a strong knowledge on a specific field, as well as developing a good scientific mind.
