I am postdoctoral scientist at the Bioimage Analysis unit at Institut Pasteur since November, 2018. My research interests are in the area of image processing, computer vision and machine learning with main focus on biological image analysis and informatics.
I received my PhD in 2017 from University of Virginia, under Dr. Scott T. Acton where I developed sparse representation and dictionary learning methods for various image analysis applications. From 2017-2018, I was Chief Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore and worked on computer vision techniques for mobile phone camera applications.
I completed my M.S from Iowa State University under Dr. Namrata Vaswani in 2012. I received my Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Jadavpur University, India in 2008.
