Expertise: Microbiology, Micro-engineering, Molecular biology
Involved in the following projects:
Patricia L.L. has developed microfluidic chambers that can be mounted on fluorescence microscopes for the study of bacterial growth and biofilm formation. Furthermore, she has determined the best conditions for biofilm formation on epithelial cell layers. For her work, she tracks the impact on pathogens on commensal biofilms with or without the presence of host epithelial layers . This project is coordinated together with J.L and C.R.. As engineer, Patricia L.L. is also involved in the general organization of the DIHP research unit
