In the last 15 years I have been working in the Department of Developmental and Stem Cell Biology where I have focused my work on skeletal muscles with a particular interest in regenerative myogenesis and the biology of muscle satellite cells. These cells are adult tissue specific stem cells responsible for the lifetime maintenance of the regeneration potential of skeletal muscles.
