Diana is a PhD student with a technology-oriented fellowship (CIFRE) working for LLTech under the supervision of Dr. Vannary Meas-Yedid Hardy at the Bioimage Analysis Unit.
Her research topic revolves around developing aid-to-diagnosis tools suitable for extemporaneous analysis at the point-of-care. She is focusing on machine learning methods to predict cancerous areas from Full Field Optical Coherence Tomography (FFOCT) and Dynamical FFOCT images acquired with the LightCT Scanner of various organs (skin, breast, brain) and different clinical settings (core needle biopsies, surgical excisions).
With the trans-disciplinary nature of her research, Diana brings together computer science, unconventional optical techniques and biomedical notions with the objective of providing both reliable and interpretable AI methods.
