Dandan is a PhD student in the Zurzolo lab, working under the supervision of Stéphanie Lebreton. Her project is focused on deciphering the molecular components governing Golgi clustering of GPI-APs in polarized epithelial cells. More specifically, she employs confocal microscopy, western blotting, and velocity gradients to study the role of cab45, a luminal Golgi protein that binds to calcium and a master regulator of GPI-AP clustering.
