Presentation
I am currently a PhD student in the Arboviruses and Insect Vectors (AIV) team, led by Anna-Bella Failloux, within the Department of Virology. My research focuses on understanding how insecticides—through both resistance and exposure—affect the ability of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes to transmit arboviruses. In addition, I investigate the impact of insecticides on an innovative vector control strategy based on the use of the endosymbiotic bacterium Wolbachia. Ultimately, this work aims to inform and optimize vector control strategies implemented in the field.
