Camille Schneider has joined Institut Pasteur in November 2023 as a full-time PhD student. She is currently working on the development of tools for the analysis of bacterial outbreaks in humans by combining mathematical modelling, genomics and epidemiology. She is co-supervised by Lulla Opatowski (Institut Pasteur, UVSQ, INSERM) and Anne Cori (Imperial College London).
Previously, Camille completed a generalist engineering degree with healthcare and biomedical services specialization in CentraleSupelec. She has already done two research internships : in mathematical modeling in infectious diseases in the same unit in Institut Pasteur and in bacterial evolution in the team “Ecology, evolution and therapeutic of virulence and resistance in bacteria” (EVRest), UMR1137 IAME, Inserm, Paris Cité.
