About

Twitter is one of the most popular social media platforms, with more than 200 million active daily users, and is getting more and more popular among scientists. But… why? Is spending time scrolling down your feed a good use of your time as a researcher? You will find that, besides cat memes, the platform offers various opportunities: a free worldwide forum to share your work, to get access to digest of articles with threads and to conference outlook, the possibility to create your own network, to get help from the community and even to interact with the general public (at your own risk, would warn people involved on SARS-CoV-2 research during the pandemic).

We will discuss the opportunities offered by Twitter, the (unwritten) rules of the social media and how to better take advantage of this platform with Guillaume Jacquemet (@GuiJacquemet).
