I’m a researcher in cognitive sciences at the Hearing Institute. My research project focuses on theoretical and translational issues concerning disorders occurring during language development (dyslexia, hearing disorders, stuttering) or later in life due to chronic or acute disorders related to brain or spinal cord injuries (post-stroke aphasia, progressive mutism in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, etc.). The main idea of the project is to identify entry points for treatments based on neurophysiological phenomena that specifically characterise these disorders.
