The Innate Immunity Unit (Inserm U1223, Paris, France) is looking to hire a degree-qualified (MD, PhD, DVD) postdoctoral fellow to join an ongoing project on humanized mice. Our laboratory has developed a series of innovative mouse models that provide preclinical tools to understand the pathophysiological basis of human diseases. The proposed project will use recently described HIS mice (Li et al., Nat. Methods 2018) to study HIV infection and to model HIV ‘cure’ strategies. The Innate Immunity Unit is fully equipped, embedded in the Immunology Department, and has access to state-of-the-art platforms (flow cytometry, single cell analysis, animal facilities including level 3 containment, microscopy and proteomics). The Institut Pasteur offers a highly dynamic and international academic environment in the center of Paris.

Candidates should have a demonstrated track record of productive research, the ability to work independently and a strong collaborative spirit. Previous experience with laboratory rodent animal models and flow cytometry is highly desirable.

Highly motivated applicants should send a cover letter, CV, and names/emails for two references to:
