A fellowship is available to continue our work on human polymorphisms in nicotinic receptors. This has led to a recent publication in Nature Medicine (Koukouli et al., 2017).
The fellow will carry out advanced two-photon, or three-photon imaging in the prefrontal cortex of awake behaving mice.
Previous experience in two-photon imaging or in vivo patch clamp recordings is essential.
The initial appointment is for 18 months, with renewal for another 24 months.
