About
ABSD is a database containing antibody sequences sourced from various repositories such as the PDB, GeneBank, IMGT, UniProt, INN, among others.
Despite the abundance of possible antibody sequences, only a few thousand human sequences are publicly accessible as of today. However, these sequences are scattered across multiple different resources, which makes it challenging to consolidate them into a unified, clean dataset due to issues like redundancies, missing “pairing” information between heavy and light chains, inconsistencies in metadata, and other errors.
The goal of this website is to effectively tackle these problems by enabling users to effortlessly construct a standardized dataset with as many antibodies as possible based on specific criteria.
