Congratulation to Prof Olivier Lortholary for being awarded a Honorific Career Achievement Award at the 11th Cryptococcus and cryptococcose meeting in Kampala (Uganda) in recognition of over 20 years research on Cryptococcus and cryptococcose.

The award, which consisted in the first article published by Prof Olivier Lortholary back in 2003 (“Primary cutaneous cryptococcosis: a distinct clinical entity“, Clinical Infectious Diseases, Volume 36, Issue 3, 1 February 2003, Pages 337–347), was handed over to him by Prof David Meya (Makerere University, Uganda).
