We had our mid-term meeting of the MATI project on mosquito vectors in Algiers on 8-9 of July 2019. Four institutes of the regional IP network MATI (stands for Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Iran) met on the site of Sidi Fredj. We had an excellent meeting with partners presenting their first results on mosquitoes found infected on the field and positive serologies of animals. Thanks to the director of IPA, Prof. Zoubir Harrat, Dr. Said Boubidi and all the staff of the Sidi Frej site for the excellent organization of our stay (good food, nice rooms, good wifi..). And Bravo to Algeria for the CAN (Coupe d’Afrique des Nations de Football)!!
