Visit of our Department at the Ecole Primaire Saint Lambert in Paris
Last Thursday, 11 members of our department visited the classrooms of the Saint Lambert primary school to speak about microbes, what they are, how good or bad they can be, how to nurture or to fight them.
It was a great moment of interaction with the children from the 5yo CP pupils to the 10yo CM2, and a lovely moment for all of us. What a pleasure it is to share our knowledge and hopefully help developing imagination and curiosity in the children !
Most pupils never saw a microscope before, even a small one, and they were surprised see what the invisible world of microorganisms look like.
It was also the occasion to tell the tale of the baby Koala and how it acquires the capacity to digest Eucalyptus leaves… You can’t help reacting to that one.
A big Thank you to Céline LOOT for the great organisation to Isabelle HOFFMANN, Baptiste DARRACQ, Manon LANG, Olivier CORDIN, Louna FRUCHARD, Etienne KORNOBIS, Marie BOURDON, David VITERBO, Claire DENIS and Charles COLUZZI for their participation, the teachers and the head teacher of the school Saint Lambert for welcoming us and finally a HUGE thank you to all the children of the school.
