The Institut Pasteur is launching an international call to recruit new junior research group leaders leveraging cutting-edge transdisciplinary approaches to exploring host-microbe or microbe-environment interactions.
We also welcome applications from researchers developing innovative artificial intelligence methodologies to advance these areas of biology and health sciences.

Eligibility
Eligible candidates typically have between between 2 and 12 years of post-PhD experience. For primary caretakers, eligibility is extended to 14-16 years post-PhD. Applicants with questions about their eligibility are encouraged to reach out for clarification before applying.

- Recommendation for the final ranking after an in-person presentation on June 2-3, 2026.

Successful junior candidates (equivalent to Assistant Professor) will be appointed with a tenure track position, and as head of a group of 6 people. These groups will be created for a period of 5 years and may thereafter compete for a full research unit.
