This year, the program will be:
Module I : Key steps from epidemiology to clinical trials;
Module 2 : Update of vaccine development update against major infectious diseases and future challenges;
Module 3: An international symposium organized at Institut Pasteur Paris on: “Vaccine development: the pre- and post- COVID-19 vaccine era”.
In brief, the course offers an integrated overview of Vaccinology by covering all the key issues of vaccine development from design to delivery to the populations in industrialized and developing countries. Besides lectures, the participants will work in groups to design a vaccine and present their work to a committee of experts by the end of the course. Q/A sessions will be organized every day to discuss with the speakers.
This course aims at providing the attendees with the knowledge required to become future actors of the international vaccine community. In addition, the worldwide network built-up by the participants over the years helps the emergence of regional/international collaborations. Of note, speakers preferentially in person or via Teams only if necessary ; participants in person only.
