Institut Pasteur (Paris, France) announces an international call for a mid-career (equivalent to associate professor/senior lecturer) group leader position in the field of Computational Biology.
The role of this new research group will be to reinforce the capacity of the Institute in computational biology. We are looking for a mid-career group leader in bioinformatics, biostatistics or integrative biology, with a strong methodological component and proven ability to collaborate. Research projects on computational and statistical analysis of biological “big data”, typically produced by -omics technologies or large-scale biobanks will be particularly welcome. However, all modeling and computational approaches of biological questions closely connected with Institut Pasteur research areas are eligible. This includes, but is not limited to, the field of disease emergence in populations and in individuals, also supported by the Inception program.
