Between May 19th and May 21st, Amaury BIGNAUD, Axel COURNAC, Fabien GIRARD, Sébastien GRADIT, Jacques SERIZAY (Spatial Regulation of Genomes unit) and Lyam BAUDRY (UNIL) participated to the Hackathon Digital for Genomics (D4GEN) organized by the Genopole.
During this event, several teams proposed projects on 4 main topics:
- FAIRification of Omics(meta)data
- Technologies Blockchain
- AI technologies (Machine learning, Deep learning, Transfert learning, …)
- new computing tools to analyse data
The ChromoTOUCH project proposed by the SRG team aimed at using analyzing the transcriptome of a host to identify physical contacts between a molecular parasite with the host’s chromosomes.
This project was award the first prize of the competition. Many congratulations to Amaury, Axel, Fabien, Sébastien and Jacques for this success !
