I obtained a B.Sc. in Biology and a Master in Molecular Biology at the University of Naples “Federico II”. I then spent two years in Denmark working on mouse genetics at the Aarhus University. In 2018, I enrolled as a PhD student in the PPU program of the Institute Pasteur. Using the gastrulating quail embryo, I am currently investigating the role played by tissue mechanics in embryonic plasticity and cell fate specification.
