Eleana Dongas is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut Pasteur in Paris and a member of the Outbreak Investigation Taskforce. Her work addresses public and healthcare worker perspectives on point‑of‑care diagnostics and pandemic preparedness in Europe. She completed a Doctorate in Public Health at Bielefeld University, examining sexual risk behaviour among adolescents in sub‑Saharan Africa. Before joining the Institut Pasteur, she worked on projects with the Berlin Institute for Population and Development, the School of Public Health (Bielefeld University), the Center for ePublic Health Research (Bielefeld University), and the German Development Agency (GIZ). Her experience includes mixed‑methods research, project coordination, and health communication in international settings.
