I joined the Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Analytics (IDEA) Unit as a mathematical modeller working primarily on Plasmodium vivax. The main focus of my work lies in applying mathematical models to uncover key disease dynamics and characteristics: from straightforward compartmental models to more elaborate individual-based models. I have also developed an interest in the role of human mobility in the spread of infectious diseases such as malaria and Covid.
