About

Howard OCHMAN

Department of Integrative Biology – University of Texas, Austin, USA
Séminaire organisé par le Département GENOMES & GENETIQUE

What have we learned from the sequencing of tens of thousands of bacterial genomes? Sequence information has elucidated the dynamism of bacterial genomes and revolutionized our understanding of the evolutionary processes operating in bacteria. This seminar will show how many of the long-established and widely accepted views about bacterial genomes have been overturned due to the accumulation of new sequence and experimental data.
