Dr. Sophie Matheron is a professor specialist of infectious diseases at Bichat Claude Bernard Hospital and University Paris Diderot, France. She is particulary involved in HIV infection management on both clinical and research fields, since the beginning of the epidemic. She is also involved in the fields of tropical and emerging diseases, of HIV infection in woman and adolescents, and the Esther program for the South.
