KEY PRINCIPLES
The Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) Axis (one of the 3 scientific priority areas of the Strategic Plan) coordinated by Paola Arimondo and Philippe Glaser and supported by the Executive Scientific Direction/SPAIS* is happy to announce the launch of an internal seed grant call dedicated to its youngest members.
This “AMR Junior seed grant call” will support short-term exploratory projects to investigate new research directions, learn innovative technologies and collect preliminary data. This internal call for applications for “seed” funding of projects must include a collaboration between 2 units/entities of the Institut Pasteur Paris campus working on AMR to build new bridges between research groups, ideally (but not mandatory) from different departments.

ELIGIBILITY & SELECTION CRITERIA
This new call is exclusively open to postdocs in collaboration with another postdoc or with a young engineer or researcher with a permanent position (PhD defense ≥ 2013) currently working on AMR on the Institut Pasteur Paris campus. The postdoc must get the agreement of her/his Head of unit/entity.
Proposals will be evaluated by a scientific committee based on quality, innovation and originality.
DURATION AND BUDGET
Seed grants are funded up to 7000 € for the whole project ie up to 3500€ per research group and will have to be spent before December 15th, 2023 ie orders will have to be placed before December 15th, 2023 and received by December 31st, 2023. Only small equipment (< 2 k€ HT total) and running costs/consumables are allowed; salaries are not eligible on this call.
