About
The aims of the ACRAS-R project are (i) to characterize the AMR transmission routes in a continuum from clinical settings (hospital effluents) to the natural receiving environment (ocean and wild animals) in Guadeloupe using a pan-genomic approach with resistome and microbiome analysis and a specific approach with the analysis of susceptible and ESBL E. coli (WGS and plasmidome analysis) and ii) analyze the role of environmental exposome and social (tourism) conditions to assess the risk of AMR transmission between human, animal and environment with a modelling approach to dissect the routes of AMR transmission, and the selection exerted by drugs/pollutants (exposome) or tourism activities.
