A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem

About

Our group is in charge of the modelling workpackage of the Pandore project (Prédiction de l’ANtibiorésistance dans Des zOnes anthRopisées Environnementales), which aims at investigating the dynamics of antibiotic resistance genes in waters and identifying the factors involved.

The PI of the project is Christophe Dagot (Université de Limoges)

Collaborations:
Christophe Dagot, Université de Limoges GRESE – ENSIL – Limoges
Fabienne Petit, Université de Rouen / UMR CNRS 6143 Groupe microbiologie – Mont Saint Aignan
Jérôme Labanowski, Institut de chimie de Poitiers ENSIP – UMR 7285 – Poitiers
Elodie Moreau-Guigon, UMR 7619, UPMC – Paris

Involved member: Paul Henriot

Summary

PANDORE aims at understanding and anticipating the resistance occurence in waters (water, biofilms, sediments) by :
1- Detecting indicators of secetion pressure (antibiotics, biocides, metals) and
resistance acquisition (bacterial species, genetic elements, resistome) in rivers biofilms and sediments.
2- Identifying environmental proxies leading to resistance reservoirs
3- Analysing the dynamics of occurrence of antibiotic resistance and build mechanistic models to better understand this dynamics and anticipate the trends under different environmental evolutions.
