About
Gene Expression programs are dominated by a small number of transcription factors (TFs) that have the powerful ability to establish and maintain cellular identity. In the cell types in which they have been identified, these core TFs regulate their own and mutual gene expressions in an interconnected auto-regulatory loop of regulation known as the Core transcriptional Regulatory Circuitry (CRC). Models of CRCs can be predicted through integration of genomic and epigenomic data using CRCmapper (Saint-André et al., Genome Res. 2016).
