Présentation
PP2A1 is the Tau phosphatase that can inactivate the specific neurodegenerative pathways resulting from hyperphosphorylation of the neuronal Tau protein. In collaboration with JH Colle (Institut Pasteur) we will analyze the effect of PP2A activating molecules on the inhibition of aberrant hyperphosphorylation of Tau (Tau-PHF) in SH-SY5Y-Tau neuroblastoma cells. This work will be endded, in collaboration with L.Buée & N.Sergeant (INSERM-Lille) by in vivo proof of concept based on inhibition of neurofibrillary degeneration (neurodegeneration of hippocampal neurons) and spatial memory recovery in in vivo Alzheimer disease mice model Thy-Tau22. (ongoing).
