– In vivo studies with mice (accreditation of persons responsible for directing animal experiments, FELASA C number 020/08, PORTUGAL): animal care and handling, small surgery procedures and follow-up of myocardial infarction by echocardiographic evaluation;
– Mouse embryos and retina dissection;
– In vitro studies with primary cardiac cells and patient-derived HUVECS (transfections assays, scratch assays and proliferation assays);
– Autonomy in flow cytometry (conventional and spectral) and FACS cell isolation;
– Histology techniques for histochemistry, immunofluorescence and in situ hybridization;
