Présentation
Amira is an advanced general-purpose visualization and 3D segmentation software for the life sciences.
On the 21st of April 2017 from 9am to 12am in F. Jacob center, Institut Pasteur, Ultrapole is hosting a demonstration for Amira. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Remi Blanc and Jose Ramos Magalhaes (FEI) and enjoy free coffee.

9h15-9h45: Overview presentation of Amira, major tools, what’s new
9h45-10h15: Object tracking in time series demo.

10h30-11h: Automated filament and microtubule tracing.
11h-11h30: Supervised tracing of membranes
11h30-12h00: Registering Electron and Light microscopy datasets
Afternoon session (Room CFJ 28-01-01E).
A hands-on session for beginners will take place after lunch (Room CFJ 28-01-01E). Please bring your laptop, temporary licenses will be provided.
