ABOUT THE PRIZE
Each year, the Institut Pasteur (IP) provides several awards to honor scientists who have made significant contributions to research. These honors are made possible through the generous contributions of donors.
The Agnes Ullmann prize is an Institut Pasteur prize created through the generosity of the late Pasteurian scientist, Professor Agnes Ullmann (1927-2019). Its aim is to provide extra encouragement to young scientists as they begin their scientific careers. It will be awarded annually to two scientists (one Female and one Male under 45 years of age) for outstanding contributions to life sciences research, performed in a laboratory of the Institut Pasteur, in the field of molecular biology or microbiology.
