Institut Pasteur is a non-profit private foundation dedicated to fundamental, interdisciplinary research and to the translation of knowledge for applications in medicine and public health (https://research.pasteur.fr/en/departments/). Depending on their previous experience, successful candidates will be appointed with a tenure track position to head a group of 6 (G5 track) or 8 people (G5+ track), the latter if they have a previous recognized PI experience of at least 2 years. These groups will be created for a period of 5 years and may thereafter compete for a 10-year full research group (U10).

Eligibility: G5 track junior group leaders must be less than 8 years after PhD, while G5+ track group leaders must be less than 12 years after PhD at the time of submission. For the G5 track, women are eligible up to 10 years after their PhD if they have one child and up to 12 years after their PhD if they have two or more children. For the G5+ track, women are eligible up to 14 years after their PhD if they have one child and up to 16 years after their PhD if they have two or more children. Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria could nevertheless be considered.
