Salam Abbara is a MD in internal medicine and infectious disease, and holds a PhD in epidemiology. Her research interests include the study of bacterial infectious diseases and antibiotic resistance using large databases, notably clinical data warehouses or the French Insurance Claim database. She is also interested in the use of natural language processing on textual health data for the study of bacterial infections.
