About
This ongoing study uses data from the ComCor and Cognitiv studies to identify attitudinal profiles among French adults toward COVID-19 vaccines, based on the 7C model of vaccine readiness. It also aims to predict future vaccination behaviours in the context of epidemics according to these generated profiles.
The study includes 47,980 participants (44,881 COVID-19 cases and 3,099 controls). The case group is divided into two samples: one for discovering patterns (80%) and one for validating them (20%). Through a Latent Class Analysis (LCA), the psychological profiles of participants are identified based on their vaccine attitudes according to the 7C model.
The association between these profiles and vaccine behaviour are then identified by a multivariate model accounting for demographic differences. To evaluate how well the model predicts behaviour, the Matthews Correlation Coefficient (MCC) and AUC-ROC scores are used in the validation sample and the control group.
Project objectives
- To identify 7C vaccine readiness profiles using Latent Class Analysis (LCA).
- To estimate the associations between 7C vaccine readiness profiles and vaccination behaviour.
- To evaluate the accuracy of the 7C vaccine readiness profiles to predict vaccination behaviour
