About
Initiated in 1996, it has so far included 2,232 patients living with HIV-1 for less than three months. Its main objective is to improve physiopathological knowledge of primary HIV infection. It now makes it possible to provide information on the impact of early treatments from the first infection, transitional or prolonged, compared to deferred treatment on long-term prognosis; markers of inflammation and the decrease in viral reservoirs are thus studied.
