My research interests focus on the interaction between malaria parasites and its human host through the analysis of biological mechanisms such as drug resistance or immunity that have an impact on disease epidemiology and transmission dynamics at the population scale. As I spent a significant part of my career working on the field in malaria endemic countries, I am particularly attached to collaborations with partners of the Institut Pasteur International Network.
I recently joined the IDEA Unit where I am involved in the development of multiplex serological assays that target multiple pathogens including Plasmodium and feed epidemiological and mathematical models for an integrated surveillance in a global health perspective.
