Maria Alexa is an ENSAE Paris engineer graduated in 2023. She has joined Institut Pasteur in January 2024 as a full-time PhD student. Her research interests are public health, antimicrobial resistance and mathematical modeling of infectious diseases. She is currently working on modelling and epidemiology of extended-spectrum beta-lactamase-producing enterobacteriaceae (ESBL-PE) transmission in housesolds.
