I’m deeply interested in parasitology and enjoy being involved in the understanding of parasites and infectious mechanisms. I worked on various pathogens such as Trypanosoma brucei, Toxoplasma gondii, Eimeria tenella and I am now a part of the BIHP unit in which I participate in the development of the in vitro culture of the Plasmodium vivax parasite, responsible for malaria.
This project is a collaboration between three different groups led by Didier Ménard, Liliana Mancio Silva and Catherine Bourgouin, specializing respectively in the blood, liver and mosquito stage, providing expertise on the entire parasitic cycle.
