A post-doctoral position is open in the Structural Image Analysis Unit at Institut Pasteur, Paris (PI Niels Volkmann) for the characterization and development of nanoparticles targeting correlative cryogenic light and electron microscopy combined with cell based and infectivity assays. The position is initially for two years with a possibility of extension.
Candidates should have a PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, or related fields with strong background in mammalian cell culture. Experience in high-resolution light microscopy or electron microscopy will be a plus. Applicants must be fluent in written and spoken English and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The lab provides a stimulating environment with access to high-end instrumentation and close collaborations with structural and computational biologists focusing on workflow development for multiscale imaging.
