About

A webinar series presenting the key outcomes of the Sonar-Cities project.

Description: The most vulnerable are often the hardest to reach in disasters. So how can we find out who is vulnerable to what consequences? And how can we communicate with them when they need it the most? In this webinar, we present Sonar-Cities’ review of crisis communication in order to reflect together on how to understand vulnerability in crisis situations and develop the most effective approaches to reach those most in need. During the webinar, you can expect to hear about the research carried out in the first year of Sonar-Cities, as well as participate in break-out discussions to gain greater insight into lived experience of health emergencies and environmental disasters.
