The iGEM Pasteur 2016 Team of Institut Pasteur presented the Mos(kit)o project on pathogen detection, in particular arboviruses, at the World Health Organization (WHO) TDR on April 10 2018. The Mos(kit)o project won several prizes at the IGEM competition including best diagnostics, best Applied Design and Best Entrepreneurship. In attendance, the Director of the Training and Research in Tropical Diseases (TDR) program of WHO Dr. John Reeder, WHO NTD (Neglected Transmissible Diseases) Coordinator Dr. Raman Velayudhan, and WHO TDR Researcher (Vectors, Environment and society) Dr Florence Fouque.
